My name is Basirah, founder and designer of Bas Design Company. I have always desired creativity and innovation for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the suburbs, surrounded by peacefulness and fields. I spent most of my time outdoors, and throughout those days of exploration, I gained a deep appreciation for natural elements and a sense of calm in nature.
Building, designing and placing decorations have always been a part of my identity. When I was young, I remember moving furniture around the house until it reached my liking. I felt alive whenever I walked into furniture stores, imagining which piece would look good at home or at a random restaurant. I have always felt my purpose was driven by being expressive and providing happiness for others through my art.
Today, I find inspiration in simple, fresh and natural environments and see the potential in every project by finding the individual character of each home and updating accordingly to make every area original and unique. My passion is creating functional and beautiful spaces that are comfortable and inviting.
As a future graduate of The Interior Design Institute and with my proven skills in leading projects and bringing pictorial visions to life, I am prepared to provide cost-effective solutions creating functionality and beauty for future projects and exceeding clients' expectations.
